From us to you, here’s a big Kentucky Hug!
We love bourbon, and we love candles. Why not put the two together? We are siblings who were born in raised in Louisville, Kentucky. We know there’s truly no place like here. We launched our business in 2020 out of Louisville, Kentucky. We wanted to bring you a product that showcases our Kentucky roots. A candle is a great way to showcase some Kentucky pride in your home or in the home of others.

Co-Owner
Danielle is an immigration attorney, who loves all things Kentucky. After, spending some time living in other places, she realized Kentucky, especially Louisville, is the only place she can truly call home. When she’s not working, you can find her sampling Kentucky’s bourbons, beers, and wines at local distilleries, breweries, and wineries or checking out Kentucky’s beautiful outdoors. Her favorite candle is Blanton’s in Bourbon look-alike.

Kyle is a college student, who loves Kentucky horses and, of course, Kentucky bourbon. He created the first ever Kentucky Hug Candle when he decided to make his sister, Danielle, a going away gift when she moved out of Kentucky. When he ‘s not studying you can catch him at the race track. He loves to host bourbon tastings, and he hopes to win the Kentucky Derby one day. His favorite candle is the Woodford Reserve in Bourbon Look-alike.

Meet the newest member of our team, Clementine! She’s a bloodhound, who is especially good at smelling candle scents. Other contributions and talents include guarding the inventory and eating the company snacks. Her favorite candle is the (Woof)ford Double Oaked in White.
